Brand design

Your brand is so much more than a logo – It’s a visual mood that reflects your values and purpose.

I work with you to create thoughtful, consistent designs across all your touch points, so you can roll out your brand to the world feeling proud and confident.

Let’s build your brand story

How we’ll do it…

KIND WORDS

Ponder Design Studio was fantastic and easy to deal with. Kylie took me through every step and listened carefully to what I was after, and added advice along the way. This was a design for new shop fit-out, logo for our new name, shop front signage, business card, and gift cards. I couldn’t be happier with our experience.

FAQs

  • No, we use your existing logo and build on it. This may mean some tweaks, new colours, font changes, etc. Then we package it all together with the other inclusions and show off your refreshed brand to the world!

  • Let me break it down for you so you can see what each one is and why having variations is important.

    Primary Logo

Your primary logo is the star of the show, the go-to symbol that represents your brand. It will appear almost everywhere: on your website, business cards, printed materials, signage, and more!

    Logo Variation

A logo variation as a different take on your main logo, and sometimes called a secondary logo. Let's say your main logo is wide and horizontal, but the available space isn’t a perfect fit. Instead of making it smaller, we create an alternative layout. This way, your logo stays easy to read and looks great in different applications.

    Logo Submark

Think of your logo submark as a simplified version of your main logo, almost like a secondary graphic. It's handy for places where you want your branding, but the full logo might be a bit much. You could use it on secondary pages of printed materials, in social media profiles, website footers, or on the back of business cards. It's a fun way to blend your brand into different designs, and add elements to your ‘brand toolkit’.

  • I tend to plan my schedule about four weeks ahead, so it's best to contact me as soon as you start thinking about needing a designer, and definitely before your deadline approaches.

  • Payments are split into two parts:

50% paid up front to secure your booking

50% on completion of the project

  • Branding projects

You’ll need to have completed the Brand Questionnaire from me before we can begin. Once I have that, we’ll meet up (either in person or online) to go through any questions and to make sure we’re on the same page before I dive in to designing.

    Other design projects

This depend on the brief. Once we’ve discussed your project I can tell you what’s needed to go ahead.

  • If you're not still not happy after two rounds of changes, we'll keep tweaking things, however there will be an extra cost for this additional time (which I will supply a quote for).

This is a rare situation, as we start with a detailed questionnaire and briefing to make sure we're on track, and most of the time, two rounds of changes are enough!

  • Please ask! I’m always open to discussing new design ideas. And if I can’t help then I may know someone who can.

  • The answer to this is, maybe. Project timelines have been well thought out to include research, design drafting, and refinement rounds. However, there are situations where we might be able to rush things along. If you're eyeing a speedy project, give me a heads-up well in advance. I can then provide a custom quote based on your needs. Please note that this may include a rush fee depending on the project's complexity and deadline.
