About me
I’ve worked in design for over 20 years, and have been running my own studio for more than a decade. Over that time, I’ve worked with businesses at all stages, from brand new ventures to those ready for a shift.
Every project starts with a conversation. We talk about where you're heading, what's working, what's not, and what this next stage needs. I ask a lot of questions before I start, because the most important part of the work happens before the designing does. The work grows out of the business behind it, and the outcome should feel like you, not like me.
I care about getting it right, not just getting it done. That means taking the time to understand your business properly and working collaboratively so nothing comes as a surprise.
Ponder is based in Hawke's Bay and I work with clients across New Zealand and beyond.

Outside the office
When I’m not working on client projects, you’ll often find me painting.
I’ve loved abstract art since my university days, and I still make time for it whenever I can. It’s a different pace and a different headspace, which I love.
